For over two decades I was the authorised repairer for Pine and Things of Canterbury, one of the largest and busiest independent furniture retailers in the South East. They established a well deserved reputation for
quality and service. My experience with Pine and Things was varied. I've done everything from antique restoration to flat pack assembly and literally thousands of repairs. Whatever your problem, I've probably fixed one like it. A big part of my job was guarantee work. This entailed visiting customers to make inspections, adjustments, correcting faults and repairing minor damage. Dealing with brand new furniture, I would only attempt
to put right manufacturers' faults or damage if I was reasonably confident it could be significantly improved. Although in some cases replacement was the best option, the majority of problems just needed one visit
to fix. Pine and Things is now closed due to the owners retirement but I aim to maintain this standard as an independent. I currently enjoy regular work from Bamboo Tiger, another respected furniture retailer in Canterbury
who I am very pleased to be associated with. I'm also happy to do a variety of related home maintenance work such as door hanging, lock fitting, skirting boards, boxing in, painting and decorating etc. If you'd like to get in touch, you can click a link at the foot of the page or send me a message using the "contact" tab. Emailing a photo of the problem would be useful, otherwise give me a ring during working hours. If I'm not able
to pick up the phone, leave a message and I will phone back. And what I don't do? I don't do upholstery. There are specialist upholstery companies out there who will do a better job than I can.
